The Range Gravel Road Race | July 11th | Centennial Park & Through the Porcupine Hills
An epic gravel adventure – where the cowboys and the antelope play.
The Range is gravel riding at its peak – travelling through private and public roads in the pristine, varied eco-systems of Southwest Alberta, with four routes for all abilities, starting and ending in our very our Centennial Park!
Claresholm Fair Days | August 6th-9th | Amundsen Park
This is a 4 DAY celebration with so many fantastic events including a candy parade, outdoor movie night, Fortis bucket rides, chili cook off, live music, baseball, old fashioned car show, carnival games, pig roast, outdoor dance, community bench show, downtown market with food trucks, old fashioned tea party, several BBQ's and pancake breakfasts and so much more!!
Plus a drift demo - that's right - real drivers in real cars showing off their drifting skills right in front of you!
Canada Day | July 1st | Centennial Park
Claresholm's Canada Day celebrations are fantastic and unique (see the Spread the World section)! Join us as we raise the flag, share free cupcakes, enjoy a BBQ, dance to live music, shop the vendor market, partake in all the wonderful kids & family activities, and celebrate all that it means to be Canadian.

Then head to Granum for the parade and fireworks!
Spread the World | July 1st | Centennial Park
This showcase of Claresholm's multiculturalism takes place - fittingly - within our Canada Day celebrations! Locals host a booth representing their heritage, home country, and culture. Grab a passport and travel through each country, stopping to chat, learn, and if your lucky, taste some amazingly authentic food or treats, before getting your passport stamped. When you've finished travelling, add your passport to the draw for a chance to win and awesome prize, or keep it for memories!
Tuesday Markets in the Park | June 9th - Sept. 15th | Amundsen Park
Every Tuesday in Amundsen Park we host an amazing market, this year it is a trio of markets as we are being joined by the local Farmer's Market, and Hypha Farms for a huge amount of vendors all in the same place at the same time! Plus these markets always have a little extra going on as local groups take turns hosting a fun activity each week, everything from crafts, to open mics, to BBQ's!
Old Fashioned Christmas | December | Downtown Claresholm
Dress up in your best old fashioned garb, jump on a wagon ride, drink hot chocolate, sing carols, head to the museum for a cozy warm up with homemade goodies, watch the trees light up, and most of all shop local! This late night shopping event is your chance to wander our downtown and get all your Christmas shopping done, or just get some great treats for yourself, we won't tell!
